Pirkey Barber PLLC is excited to reveal that Managing Intellectual Property has once again named the firm the U.S. Trademark Prosecution Firm of the Year — South.
Each year, Managing IP presents awards to firms behind the most innovative and challenging intellectual property work of the past year. Though invited to receive the award at the global publication’s fifteenth annual awards ceremony, this year’s prestigious event was cancelled.
“We are so thrilled to have this acknowledgment of our hard work this past year. Pandemic may keep us from our big night, but nothing diminishes our ongoing commitment to excellence,” remarked Chris Kindel, a member of the Pirkey Barber Management Committee.
Pirkey Barber is honored to have achieved the 2020 award amidst a challenging field including firms Alston & Bird, Baker McKenzie, Haynes and Boone, and King & Spalding. No stranger to MIP recognition, Pirkey Barber won the same distinction in 2014, and was named by MIP as the U.S. Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year in 2016 and 2015.
Managing IP, a part of the Euromoney Legal Media Group, is rigorous in defining industry excellence. Following six months of analysis by its researchers, a shortlist of firms is selected in various categories viewed to have had outstanding years. Award winners are selected from these shortlists.
