
Christian Andersen
With decades of experience in intellectual property, Christian R. Andersen is a seasoned Senior Paralegal, well-versed in trademark, copyright, and domain name matters, as well as prosecution and enforcement.
Christian R. Andersen is a Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal who has been working in the area of Intellectual Property since 1987. He is experienced in all aspects of Intellectual Property including prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of copyright, domain name, and trademark rights.
Chris is active with the International Trademark Association (INTA) . Locally, he was named Paralegal of the Year in 2008 by the Dallas Area Paralegal Association (DAPA). He first joined DAPA in 1987 and was the Chair of the Intellectual Property Section for over 20 years. From 1989 to 2008 he was a volunteer for Legal Hospice of Texas and has been involved with the Metroplex Association of Corporate Paralegals (MACP).
He is the author of “The Essentials of Intellectual Property” (Pearson Publications Co., 1998) and co-author of “The Essentials of the Internet” (Pearson Publication Co., 2002) and has been a speaker for various organizations including INTA and DAPA.
Prior to his legal career, Chris worked as a living history interpreter, portraying an 1870s printer at a museum in Dallas — Old City Park, now known as Dallas Heritage Village. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling to the Hawaiian Islands whenever he can.
