Diane Hund

Diane Hund is well versed in the areas of securing domestic and international trademark protection, as well as brand policing and enforcement. Her work includes formulating initial trademark filing strategies, preparing submissions to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, performing watch services to alert clients of trademark infringement, and collaborating with international associates regarding clients’ global trademarks. Diane also assists with due diligence related to trademark assignments and corporate transactions.

Diane began her career at a large multinational law firm where she gained expertise in trademark registration and conflict resolution and was an active member of the legal community, including the International Trademark Association. Diane also offered on-site training to assist clients with organizing and managing trademark portfolios. She later joined the in-house practice at a leading global food and beverage company and worked in partnership with the marketing team, providing practical and business-focused trademark guidance. Diane assisted with trademark clearance for new product launches, worked closely with licensing agencies to leverage brands and monitor third-party use, and offered support with trademark enforcement and dispute resolution. Her experience also includes assisting a solo practitioner in all areas of trademark registration and enforcement, with a focus on entrepreneurial businesses and start-up companies.

Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Eric and their two sons, Jackson and Alexander. Diane is a frequent volunteer in her children’s schools within the Lake Travis area. She devotes much of her time to supporting local student band programs through fundraising efforts and volunteering.
