Kyle Sorenson focuses his practice on trademark, copyright, and intellectual property matters. Before joining Pirkey Barber, Kyle practiced patent law, including litigation, at McDermott Will & Schulte and Baker Botts.
Kyle earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. Prior to law school, he received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and a bachelor’s degree in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary. He is also a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Outside the office, Kyle enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and coaching youth flag and tackle football.
