He works closely with clients to develop practical, business-focused solutions.
Prior to joining Pirkey Barber, Robert was a litigation associate at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. Before that, he practiced at Williams Simons & Landis PLLC and began his career at Vinson & Elkins. Through these roles, he has gained experience handling a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
Before his legal career, Robert worked in research and development for a clinical toxicology and pharmacogenetics laboratory and was a professional bassist, touring throughout the United States and Canada.
Robert earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside of his practice, he is a live music enthusiast—both as a musician and a concertgoer—and enjoys exploring Austin’s restaurant scene.
