Sarah Peterson specializes in trademark and copyright law, advising clients on trademark prosecution, branding strategies, and IP disputes involving copyright, trademark, and trade dress, including matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and domain disputes.
Sarah Peterson’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright law, with particular experience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and brand protection. She advises clients on trademark clearance, prosecution, and IP portfolio management, both domestically and internationally. In addition to prosecution, Sarah handles a wide range of enforcement matters, including internet violations, oppositions and cancellations at the TTAB, and negotiations.
With a background in technology, she has extensive experience assisting clients in the industry, representing companies offering both hardware and software products. Sarah’s expertise extends to hospitality and consumer service brands, including sectors such as beauty, wellness, food, and entertainment.
Sarah earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University.
In her free time, Sarah likes to travel and read. She has a passion for interior design and is currently learning Spanish.
