Sarah Peterson
Sarah Peterson specializes in trademark and copyright law, advising clients on trademark prosecution, branding strategies, and IP disputes involving copyright, trademark, and trade dress, including matters before the TTAB and online.
Sarah Peterson’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright law, with particular experience in trademark prosecution, enforcement, and brand protection. She advises clients on clearance searches, counseling, and IP portfolio management, both domestically and internationally. In addition to prosecution, Sarah handles a wide range of enforcement matters, including cease-and-desist actions, domain disputes, and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
Sarah works primarily with clients in the technology, retail, and hospitality industries. With a background in technology, she has extensive experience representing companies offering both hardware and software products, as well as apparel and lifestyle brands.
Sarah earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University.
In her free time, Sarah likes to travel and read. She has a passion for interior design and is currently learning Spanish.
